About transaction price data
The transaction data is based on surveys of property buyers conducted by Japan’s Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism (MLIT). It shows reported completed sales, not current listing or asking prices.
Transaction records are published quarterly and are searchable from 2005 through the latest available period.
