Data Updates and Coverage

Coverage and publication of Japanese property transaction records

Transaction records

The site retrieves publicly released transaction records from MLIT's Real Estate Information Library (XIT001). Data is published periodically by quarter. Availability differs by area and publication period.

Historical coverage

Searches cover the published periods from the third quarter of 2005 onward. Annual searches include available quarters for that calendar year.

Area summaries

Where data is available, area summaries use recent completed years for current-level statistics and longer historical series for trend comparisons. Results may differ according to the property category and sample size.

Latest official publication

For the most recent release schedule, refer to the MLIT Real Estate Information Library. Cached retrieval timestamps on this site, where shown, are not official publication dates.
